Power, voltage, and size—matched to your reality
A low-wattage heater still has to play nice with your machine’s electrical setup. So we offer units in 230V and 400V. That means you can wire them to the plant supply without reworking the control panel. We keep the wattage low to control heat density, but the voltage choice keeps current manageable. That helps you keep conductors smaller and reduces stress on contacts. The tube length—often around 300mm—basically sets the heated area. Shorter lengths concentrate the energy, which is perfect when you only need to hold temperature on a small bearing surface, a valve, or a tight process zone.
What’s inside—and why it stays steady
Inside each tube, the halogen cycle keeps the filament stable, so output stays consistent over time. The quartz envelope handles high heat and fast thermal cycling without cracking. And the reflective coating on the outside directs infrared energy forward, so more usable power actually reaches the target. The R7s connector is just practical: it gives solid contact and makes the lamp a straightforward, drop-in replacement in standard sockets.
The payoff: fast heat, repeatable control
These heaters shine when you need heat that turns on fast—and off fast—with repeatable control. In packaging, plastic processing, and machine-tool hot spots, the low wattage gives you fine resolution so you don’t overshoot the setpoint. One thing to keep in mind: concentrated heat density needs good cooling around the fixture. Plan your airflow and mounting clearance, and the unit will hold steady without drifting.
